Be strong and courageous!
God is with us in all circumstances; knowing that we are not alone, we can face any challenge.
This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
Joshua 1:9
Joshua 1:9 is a verse from the Old Testament, where God is speaking to Joshua, Moses' successor.
In context, God is preparing Joshua to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land. God assures Joshua of His presence and support, encouraging him not to fear or be discouraged by the challenges ahead. The phrase "Be strong and courageous" is repeated several times in this chapter, emphasizing the importance of these qualities for Joshua's leadership.
The verse is a message of encouragement and assurance for believers today. It reminds us that God is with us in all circumstances and that we can face challenges with courage and strength, knowing that we are not alone.
Don’t be afraid to venture outside your comfort zone in your personal or work life. Imagine all that you can see and do in your life if you believe in yourself as much as God believes in you.

Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask for your guidance and protection over Dr. Greg Murphy as he goes into major surgery. We pray that you would give the surgeons and medical staff wisdom and steady hands, and that you would guide them to perform the surgery with precision and care. We ask that you would comfort Greg and his family, and that you would fill them with your peace that surpasses all understanding. We know that you are the Great Physician, and we trust in your healing power. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
