But the Lord’s plans stand firm forever;
his intentions can never be shaken.
Psalm 33:11
God's plans don't change just because time passes or new people are born. They are always the same, and they always happen, no matter what. God's plans are like a rock, and they can't be stopped.
Throughout human history, ungodly nations have collaborated to thwart God and to ruin His people. God ultimately frustrates the cleverest plots hatched by His opponents. Nothing can hinder the accomplishment of His purposes.
John Eldredge from Wild at Heart Ministries recently said in an email, “…no matter how promising an idea sounds, if God’s not in it, you don’t want to be in it either." It is well worth evaluating everything in your life to determine if “God is in it.” After careful reflection, you may find that some things in your life may need to be released and maybe other things need more of God’s influence in them. When you get praised by your boss or fellow co-workers for doing something special at work, do you, at a minimum, give internal credit to God for helping you? If not, start embracing His great influence. You are loved.
God is in control, even when we cannot see it. Whatever He plans will come to pass, so get on board and enjoy the ride.

Prayer of the Day
Dear God, in the midst of life's uncertainties and the plans we make for ourselves, we come to you with open hearts and humble spirits. We acknowledge that our plans are often flawed and limited, while your plans are perfect and eternal.
We pray for the grace to trust in your divine wisdom and to surrender our own desires and ambitions to your will. Help us to see that your plan for our lives is far greater and more beautiful than anything we could ever imagine or plan for ourselves.
In moments of doubt and fear, remind us of your faithfulness and the countless times you have proven yourself trustworthy. May we find comfort and peace in knowing that you are always in control, even when we cannot see the way forward.
Lord, give us the strength to let go of our own plans and to embrace your will for our lives. Help us to be patient and to wait on you, trusting that your timing is perfect. May we find joy and fulfillment in following the path you have set before us, knowing that it leads to eternal life and glory.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
